Export This Before You Move

Your phone numbers and your 10DLC registration transfer with you. Two things you export yourself.

  • Your leads. In Launch Control settings. Filter by campaign, lead status or date range, or export every campaign at once.
  • Your DNC and blocked numbers. Also in settings.

If you brought lists in through Direct Import, you can download those from the same place.

Complete this step before you start Step 3. Your leads file is the first thing you import, and your registration does not move until your contacts are in. Starting the migration without it holds up your first send.

Step 3

How Migration Works

Finish your exports first. Step 2 has to be done before you begin.

  1. Purchase your Smarter Contact subscription. Pick your plan above and complete checkout. Instructions on how to purchase.
  2. Set up an onboarding session. At the end of the purchase process, when you enter Smarter Contact for the first time, you will be asked to set up an Onboarding Meeting. Please set this up immediately.
    Many of the Launch Control tools you use daily exist in Smarter Contact under a different name. Macros are Quick Replies, for example. Our team helps you understand this on your onboarding call.
  3. Import your contacts. Do this before your registration moves. Your existing leads still have your number, so the moment your registration goes live they can text you back. If your contacts are not in the system yet, those replies arrive with nothing attached to them.
    Bring your opt-out and DNC lists across at the same time so your suppression is active from message one.
  4. Submit your 10DLC details. Standard form, same details you already have on file. Because your campaigns transfer between provider accounts rather than starting over, approval is usually the same day.
  5. Start building and executing on your campaigns! Take advantage of additional capabilities.
  • Compliance guardrails built in. Real-time alerts flag messages and campaigns that put your numbers at risk before they send.
  • Data enrichment and cleanup. Enrich and clean your contact data inside the platform instead of exporting to a separate tool.
  • Multi-channel messaging. Reach contacts across more than one channel from the same workspace and contact record.
  • Sub-accounts. Run separate workspaces under one login for different teams, markets, or brands.
  • Personalized message building. Build messages with custom fields and variations rather than one template at volume.

Yes. Your numbers transfer with you.

You submit your registration details on Smarter Contact, but your existing campaign approvals transfer between provider accounts rather than going back through full review. Most customers are approved the same day.

Message and campaign history does not transfer. Export anything you need from Launch Control before you migrate. Your account stays accessible until you move.

They are added to your account when you migrate and are worth $225. Use them whenever you go past your 20,000 included messages. They are a one-time credit rather than a monthly addition, so if you consistently send more than 20,000 a month, Elite Plus 50k is the better fit.

It keeps running. Your campaigns, contacts, and numbers stay live and your Launch Control support team is still there until you migrate.

The Launch Control affiliate program is closing. We are launching a user referral program that gives account credits to both the person referring and the person referred. Details are coming shortly, and your customer success contact can walk you through it.

About a week end to end for most accounts, most of which is registration approval and your own setup time.
